In case you haven’t noticed, it’s tough to be a middle-school or high-school student these days. There is a seemingly constant barrage of different messages, pressures, and expectations coming at students. Our goal is to provide a space where students can discover and be reminded of the things that matter most. Our desire is that every student would come to know his or her identity and purpose in Jesus.
Unmanned is our middle-school ministry, geared toward 6th-8th graders. We meet Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:30-7:45pm in the youth room (out in the gym). We have a ton of fun (dodge ball anyone?!), and at the end of the day are committed to equipping and sending these students into the world as followers of Jesus.
Vertigo is our high-school ministry, reaching 9th-12th graders. We meet Wednesday nights during the school year from 7:45-9:00pm. We gather for a time of singing, some crazy games, and a teaching. Then we break off into small groups to grow deeper in our relationship with God and others.
Each year we go on a summer mission trip. It’s the culmination of our year together and a powerful reminder that all of us have been called to the mission-field, sharing the good news of Jesus every day, in every way.
